As the child of two veterans and having a Grandfather serve in WW2, service to others is not only close to my heart, it is in my blood. It is of paramount importance that we never forget the sacrifices made by those who have come before us and those who currently stand in the gap for our safety each and every day. Frequently, our service members endure their challenges in silence and are often unaware of how to access the support they need. As your representative, I will lend my support to programs and legislation that care for those who willingly put themselves in harm's way for the sake of us all.
