Our greatest national treasure lies in our children; as such, funding to schools is an investment in our future. I will encourage and support legislation that brings needed funding to our schools in support of providing our students with hands-on, real world opportunities to learn and grow. In order for our children to thrive in an ever-changing workforce and economy they will need to be equipped with in-demand skills and be given the opportunity to earn industry credentials before graduation. Additionally, I support creative measures to restore our valuable teacher and education workforce. Any investment to those who serve our children is an investment in our children and in the future of our state and nation.
